Howdy Karbach Cook Off Competitors!

Below you will find the exciting new lineup of talent for the Karbach Cook Off, which will take place on May 19th at Karbach Brewing Co.! We hope you can make it if you’re still able. Entry fee is $100 per team and check-in is from 8am to 11am.

  • Entry fee is $100 per team.
  • Each team is allowed up to six (6) cooks.
  • Check in is from 8am-10am.
  • All food must be prepared on site.
  • Each team must supply all of their own equipment for cooking and sampling. Extra equipment, such as pots, pans, utensils, etc… will NOT be provided.
  • All food must be prepared on site.
  • Each team will have a 20’x20’ area for competing and must have (2) 10’x 10’ tent to cover their space.
  • Each team is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of their site.
  • Garbage cans will be provided throughout the cook off area.
  • Power is available on a limited basis – first come, first served.
  • Water will be available, but it is highly recommended each team bring a supply of water to be used for cooking and cleaning.
  • There are three (3) categories for entries: Chili, Chicken and Open Dish.
  • Each team MUST prepare a Chili dish to enter the competition. Chicken and Open Dish entries are optional.
  • Each team is suggested to prepare 10-15 gallons of Chili to be used for sampling and judging.
  • If entering Chicken and Open Dish categories, each team is suggested to prepare approx. 800 samples to be used for judging and sampling.
  • Each team will be provided containers and utensils for sampling.
  • Each team will be provided select beer from Karbach Brewery Co. that must be used in each recipe.
  • Each team will be provided containers for submitting their entries for judging.
  • Judging Times: Chicken at 5:30 pm – Chili at 6:00 pm – Open Dish at 6:30 pm.
  • Each Team will be given Karbach Drink Vouchers during the event.
